It will start on Thursday afternoon with the registration and opening by the vice rector of University of Oulu, Taina Pihlajaniemi, followed by the opening lecture, given by George Carman.
It is the first time that this meeting will be held in Finland, and we are very pleased to welcome you all in Oulu, the largest city in Northern Finland. The meeting takes mainly place in the Linnanmaa Campus of the University of Oulu. It is worth to spend time before or after the meeting to visit the sightseeing points in Oulu or to discover the lovely nature around the city. In May, we are quite close to the famous event of Midsummer, so come and get already the spirit of nightless nights in Northern Finland.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Oulu!
